What is the purpose of the ACCO Brands Talent Connection Program?

The ACCO Brands Talent Connection Program provides an online source for former employees to network with current employees, as well as to help them make a smooth transition after leaving the organization.  We are committed to enriching the lives of former employees by helping establish lifelong, meaningful and valued relationships with ACCO Brands and with each other.  We strive to inspire loyalty and pride among former employees by strengthening a continued relationship with ACCO Brands.

Who is eligible to join the ACCO Brands Talent Connection Program?

All former employees, who were at one point employed by ACCO Brands as a regular full time employee, and are no longer currently employed by the Company.

How do I become part of the ACCO Brands Talent Connection Program?

• Go to http://www.accobrands.com.
• Click on “careers search.”
• Select your “country” or “region.”
• Select “ view all open jobs.”
• Select the “job title” for the job for which you want to apply.
• Select” apply for this job online” link.
• Create your” profile” by “uploading your resume”, then click “submit profile.”
• Once you have gone through all of the steps and applied to the role, the system will generate a message that “confirms” that you are being considered for the position.

Once I become a part of the ACCO Brands Talent Connection Program, what happens next?

• Upon profile completion and uploading your resume to the Talent Connection website, an acknowledgement of your submittal will be issued through the system. 
• Your resume will be kept in our confidential database for consideration as openings become available. You will be contacted if your background is determined to be a suitable match for any of the roles posted.
• To be considered for future openings, please follow the steps below for creating a search agent.

1. Visit our career website at: http://www.accobrands.com/acco/us/us/s/2577/careers-search.aspx.
2. Select your” country” or “region.”
3. Enter a “job title” within the “keyword” search field and select your “preferred location” in the dropdown list provided.
4. The system will prompt you to “create a search” agent by “title” and “location.”

What can I expect from creating a “search agent?”

• You will receive notifications for openings of roles listed as suitable matches to your skill set.
• The email notification will direct you to apply to a specific role.
  

What happens after I apply to a job?

• A member of the staffing team will evaluate your resume and if your background meets the qualifications of the role, you will be contacted by a recruiter to discuss your qualifications in detail.
• If after the initial screen, your experience is determined to be a suitable match for the qualifications of the role, you will be invited to interview.  Depending on the level of the position, you may be invited to participate in an online assessment.
• After the interview process is complete, if your background is still considered a match to the qualifications of the role, your candidacy will move to the next level of the process. 
• If your background is not determined to be a suitable match to the role, we will notify you of the decision and will retain your resume in our database for further consideration.

I want to update my resume.  What should I do?

Update your profile by logging onto our careers website at:

http://www.accobrands.com/acco/us/us/s/2676/careers-search.aspx.

• Access your profile by logging in from the “returning users” section.
• Follow the guided instructions to update your profile.
  

I am a returning user, but I have forgotten my login information. How do I obtain it?

You may access your login information by visiting our career website at: http://www.accobrands.com/acco/us/us/s/2676/careers-search.aspx.

• At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a section for returning users.  Click on “retrieve password.

Indicate your email address, and your login information will be emailed to you.
