On March 16, 2024, 10 ACCO Brands employees and their families from the Kettering location joined Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Miami Valley (BBBSMV) for their annual fundraiser: Bowl for Kids’ Sake. The employees formed three bowling teams that met for the event at Poelking Woodman Lanes for prizes, snacks, and some friendly rounds of bowling. Our teams managed to raise $5,635 for the nonprofit organization.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters is a Nonprofit organization, dedicated to matching children (Littles) with adults who believe in them (Bigs). They strive to provide children in need with a strong, stable adult influence. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is BBBSMV’s longest running grassroots event and sees participation from a wide variety of Dayton-area individuals and businesses. Corporate sponsors such as ACCO Brands gather groups of five individuals to raise a minimum of $500 per team.
Our very own JB joined one ACCO team with his former Little (pictured above), the pair was matched up 11 years ago, and despite aging out of the program they are still very close.
